The Darkness Was No More

You walked into the darkened room
That occupied my mind,
And into it you brought a light
So bright it struck me blind.

Soon my mind adjusted
The darkness was no more,
My world became a different place
When you walked through the door.

True happiness it seemed to be
For others, not for I
But here you were, in my life
Love had not passed me by.
