The Darker Side of Camelot
Reigning in his own demise,
the alcoholic stumbles
Falling from the ramparts high,
hard upon the ground
A monarchy of lost regret,
in anger’s shame he crumbles
Trapped inside a broken dream
—heartache’s thorny crown
