The Dance

The band was loud and the lights low
From afar you had a glow

With little pomp and circumstance
I gave my luck a chance
	And we danced
A more beautiful scene could not be painted
Wondering why before this we weren’t acquainted

Lost within your eyes
Shining like stars within the skies

As we spun around and around
Moments such as this hard to be found

When the lights finally came on
And our time was almost gone

I kissed you on the cheek
And ever since I forever seek
A dance that last till end of time
	A love impossible to define

One night I stole a glance
I found myself lost in your trance
	All this
From that one dance
