The Daily Report 03282011631pm

Trapped in a world that has ignored my skill,
Having only one choice, which is to fight
Every instinct to give in to fright,
Drawing upon the might of a strong will,
Allowing myself to climb up this hill,
In order to reach the desired height,
Leaving behind me the unfriendly night,
Yet, still able to feel that awful chill.
Reaping the benefits of chosen words,
Even those that would never please the ear,
Presents me with a challenge to be heard,
Or tell people what I want them to hear,
Releasing my words like messenger birds,
Traveling distances both far and near.
