Everything seems to be calm
After evacuating hearing about the Covid 19 bomb
Does that mean a time for a break?
Or reality no money to make
Is this a paid vacation tranquil tease?
Or getting away, doing as one please
Phone is not off the hook
Settling down in the sand reading a good book
Waiting for a call
Cannot spend time down at the mall
Finding out important obligations are really small
Since staying healthy and inside the law
No worries or fears
Just mental combatting the corona spear
That rolled through the winter
Like a chef planning dinner
One by one they dropped
European life just stopped
Cancelling annual events on the board
Using its invisible slashing sword
On its east to west deadly diseased diabolical tour
Is everything all right?
Simple lives trapped waiting for a guiding light
To deal with a pandemic fight
There are things that are wrong
When writing lyrics for a peaceful song
That could look nice on the charts
During early play starts
Then the charity case is a top 100 hit
While high profile individuals need some sort of a kit
How does one get sick?
During this global trick
Not wearing a mask?
Doing daily tasks?
Try to plan for tomorrow
Staying positive, no sorrow
Are they ever going to remove the chains?
Applied due to the psychotic flu strain
When a contagious culprit took away everyone’s social game
As the day comes to close
What does the news media know?
Two major things going on
Both featuring Commander and Chief Don
Prescription Care address
To fix this health care mess
Go back under the bed sheets
Wait for the early morning sun looking so sweet
