The Cynicism of Disillusion

THE CYNICISM OF DISILLUSION or Perhaps Hamlet was right.

Disillusion frames the drama of our lives
As we lurch through props and sets with pratfalls tripped
Wood Pigeon soars to self applause and then subsides 
Fine woven fabric inadvertently is ripped
Why essay to climb the peak, perchance the ending
Where demise succeeds your rise, while descending
