The Cycle of Life
Withou a rumble. Without a sound
A seed breaks through from underground
It stands up straight and lifts its head
A new addition to flower bed
Still a virgin in its birth
It gets its nutrients from the Earth
The sun begs growth and it complies
By reaching for the big blue sky
Springtime showers feed the need
Required by this new born seed
As time goes on, it grows on
Complimenting well kept lawn
Sunshine feels like warm embrace
Color starts to show its face
Summer breeze makes flowers move
Sister blossoms join the groove
Bees are drawn to see the dance
They drink the nectar of romance
Pollen clings to tiny hairs
And flies away to Lord knows where
Other likes recieve the seed
To carry on their speciel breed
Autumn gently ushers in
A happy, sleepy, dormant wind
Flora starts to close its eyes
Until the dawn of Spring arrives
When something moves beneath the ground
Without a rumble. Without a sound
