The Curse

Greatful for your words,
that I cling too.
It's the curse you've put upon me.

I'm your puppet,
held up by your strings
connecting to my heart.

You know how to bring me down,
one snap and I could be at your feet,
crippled and broken,
barely living.

You know I love you,
do you love me too?
Or am I just the dirt beneath your shoe?
