The Current of Life
when swimming through the ocean
deeo and wide and vast
if you float on my oblivious
the current can get fast
the rapid tide can pull you in
and beat you up; swallow you whole
and the more you try to fight it
you're farther from your goal
so you find yourself far out at sea
loosing strength, loosing hope
and you soon find yourself sinking
no longer floating, no longer can cope
but those who swim with the current
and use it as their guide
find it a better way to reach the shore
on the oceans wild ride
