The Cry of the Black Cat

“THE CRY OF THE BLACK CAT” Darkness rise, Brightness falls AS the Black Cat cries through the night All that seems Black and White, turns to be Shadow and Light Wishes he may, Wishes he might For not a single star shines through the night For not even the Moonlight graces the sky Not a strand of hope left before his sight He weeps bitterly like the sea of the Nile Trapped in a Cage with nothing but might All he feels are the weeps of his Fright Hoping to be stronger in his next Life The Black cat sleeps and finally, he says Good night.

Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
