The Crumbled Life

THE CRUMBLED LIFE I took the life that Christ gave me and crumbled it to bits; Though He had made great sacrifice, I made a mess of it. I didn’t think of what I did, I only wanted fun. Though deep inside I knew ‘twas wrong, the ruin had begun. When finally He broke my heart and I saw all the strife, I cried before the throne of God about my crumbled life. Now as I stood there so ashamed and cried before the Lord, He took my tattered, crumbled life, through His blood it restored. Now though I see a crumbled life so scarred and so abused, He sees it justified and pure and one He wants to use. Oh, Lord I thank and praise Your name for saving me from sin, Now help me not to take my life and crumble it again.
