The Cross

It draws me near in humbleness,
It shows the love so many miss
hate, laughter, scorn, and shame,
from those who know not His name.

As I look it stands alone
Wait!! It's pointing my way home.
Standing tall with strength and height
I will!! I will not forget my plight.

I must hurry! witness, shout, and pray,
telling others of this way.

The cross, the cross, that mighty tree
is where a friend died for me

Quick! hurry! don't delay,for Jesus
just might come today.

Try not to stumble, please don't fall,
If you do just give a loud call,
Jesus! help! I'm on my way
I want to be saved , to trust and obey.

What a wonderful way to witness and show respect to the Lord at the same time. It is a perfect way to call sinners to the altar. Thank you for sharing. Great job! Smiles from Lolita
