The Credits

It's like trying to pick a lock with a wet hair
something so close yet so far away
you had it and now it's lost forever
no wonder why nothing is ever real.

I want a love that's memorized the credits
he knows the silence before a kiss
he has the scenes verbatim in his mind.
and when I leave he only wants more.

How can you find the words before they're written
like trying to memorize a song you've never heard
never caught your eye until too late
now you settle being alone for a moment passed.

I want a love that's memorized the credits
he knows the silence before a kiss
he has the scenes verbatim in his mind
and when I leave he only wants more.
