The Craziest Day

I'm a bride
ready to walk
Showing less pride
To others that talk

I breathe so deep
I feel there is no air
I try to sleep
No groom there

I walk back and forth
This is not clear
My breath is short
Where is my dear?

Finally he comes in
I start to smile
Him and his friend
Talk for a while

He comes to me with a frown
He touches my arm
Something bad is going down

I can't do this
he would say
What did i miss
I kissed your maid

Are you in love with her
Why not me?
You can't love her
I am your bride to be
