The Cowpokes Song
There's moonlight on the prairie
With the campfire cracking
He sings his cowpokes song
He dreams of the day
Of catching the bouquet
The time and pleasure
Watching sons and daughters grow
Rocking on a wooden horse
Watching the flowers sow
Now he eats the dust of another days labor
Only wishing
For a drop of water to quench his thirst
Umable to sing
A cowpokes song
