The Cow - a Second Mother
As a life-giver to mankind,
Very special status it enjoys.
Best known as a holy creature on earth.
Answers man’s thirst and hunger,
Beast-of-burden besides.
As a measure of wealth, it serves.
From us, it expects nothing in return.
Thus, a great respect it deserves.
Life’s purpose, from it we discern.
Gives milk and manure;
A friend to every farmer;
Man’s second mother.
