The Court of Love
There's twenty-four hours in a day
Each moment thinking of you
Constantly on this old guy's mind
What a lovely couple, we two
Just you and I, alone in the world
True love enduring and deep
Lasting for another lifetime or two
In my mind these memories I keep
Another time when we two were young
In our hearts, in body and soul
To relive those moments one more time
Is most truly my ultimate goal
In a court of love with judge and jury
Sure I'd be awarded sole custody
Of your heart, your soul, your total being
A tender romantic rhapsody
There's twenty-four hours in a day
Each moment thinking of you!
