The Cost of War

You went to war against America
the cost is just to great
your children lying dying
there's death upon your streets

Your death invade's America
it also doesn't win
their children lying dying
the world doesn't need

two wrongs do not create a right
two wrongs make life no better
instead it's death and dying
no one is better off

Children weep for mothers
fathers cry for sons
the people that have hurt you
they never really pay

Instead it's left for others
that never hurt your heart
the man that ordered death my friend
is not the one that pays

instead it's some ones mother
you put into the grave
the cost of firing missile's
time and time again

in truth depletes your budget
destroying your good name
your children and their parents
can't get a bloody job

you have destroyed the company's
you have destroyed the cogs
the money making systems
you need to feed the dog

the water, phones and tv's
all suffer from your bombs
instead you should be working
creating peace and love

instead of wasting money
on all the things above
perhaps the weapon company
is making millions now

I'd prefer that we made nappy's
and happy little sprog's
the worlds losing customers
cause they don't have a job.
