The Core

Hell was burning brightly on that lovely day.
Lightning storm thoughts and clear skies.
Lied with his smile and spoke the truth with his eyes.
Lungs in a vice
Heat stroking in the snow
Heart turned to ice.
On that lovely day,
she destroyed something beautiful.
