The Cool Way
The little boy walked to school each day,
Complaining much why it was this way.
Why could he not ride the bus?
Why did it create such a fuss?
All his friends thought it cool
That they each day rode the bus to school.
They reminded him daily of this fact
Which caused him to negatively react.
One day on older student grabbed his attention.
There was something he’d like to mention.
“Just because they say it’s cool,
Doesn’t make it the absolute rule!”
That day a lesson was learned by the lad.
It’s not always cool to follow the fad.
Actions of the majority on a said activity
Shouldn’t always result in positive proclivity.
