-the Conquest of Kingdoms Within-

My eyes are upon you O God,
there's not a day goes by
when I am not thinking of You
and the death that I must die.

I walk along this quiet place
where thoughts of You abound.
What shall be of the days ahead;
shall my destiny be found ?

The answer lies within my choice.
For because of You I know
that destiny comes to me day by day
through the many seeds that I sow.

Shall I lift my eyes up from myself
and look to the future ahead ?
I long for the completion of your work in me
and the place where self is dead.

Ever seeking Your Eternal Lordship
and the conquest of kingdoms within,
the choice is ever before me
finding life or death through sin.

8.6.8,6 Doug is the pattern you seem to favor so remove the word that from line 4. Delete the word "For" in line 10. "Destiny comes to me each day" is 8 syllables Doug. Then "Through the seeds that I sow." is 6. Delete the "up" in line 1 of the second to last verse (not necessary anyway is understood) "Look to the fore instead?" 6 "I long to be a work complete" 8 delete and next line....the last verse can be different for emphasis IF you can't get 8,6,8, 6!!
