The Confident Cat
The peach sky mesmerized the kitten and enticed her to try
So she walked a tightrope, up close into the gorgeous light sky
The clouds turned into fish, giving her a feeling of dinner.
She felt honored and revered, she knew she was a winner.
Easy to forget what you are doing and lose your step,
But this cat was agile and had plenty of adoring pep.
She walked the high wire as well as any ballerina before her.
The onlookers watched with awe; many now adore her.
None realizing she was feral with a very scary life.
She is now a famous feline, and will make a terrific wife.
Many Toms woo her, but she takes time to make up her mind.
She has been through trauma, and needs one who is gentle and kind.
