The Concert

THE CONCERT
Best American band there’s ever been,
in 1961 they hit the scene,
a classic group still rock’in it today,
treating our feet to the beat ‘Surfin USA.’
Palm trees welcomed them on stage,
these guys had fans of every age,
the sun smiled down on ‘Kokomo’,
they kept fans groov’in to the non-stop show.
In a wave of blue ocean swirls,
you found yourself in love with ‘California Girls’
and when you hear that T-Bird engine roar
it was the ‘ Fun Fun Fun’ you’d waited for
the hall was screaming more, more, more
their sound will go on forevermore.
