The Comforter

Treat me like a lullaby let me sway you to rest Treat me like that higher spirit let me show you you're blessed. You can look at me or don't bodies pressed together - we're in the right form. Your head on my arm it's ok, accept calm. Forget your worries for a while inhale my cologne, that's your chloroform. let me show you how much you mean to me, this position could be our norm. I want you to feel at ease possibly at peace. Can you hear the TV? That distant sound as we make our way hand in hand into the land of dreams. I'll meet your eyes again in the morning, with the scent of breakfast as your alarm, for tonight simply focus on our embrace may this be our routine now and always.
