The Collector

My life is full of sense: I have a big collection of fridge magnets, calendars and hotel slippers which my friends bring me from their trips. I have the rare stamp I found on the street. I have the flippers I bought off a church sale. Alas, I can't swim... Luckily, I have neither wife, nor kids in my collection. When I feel sad, I don’t need to lock myself in the bathroom for crying in the company of my red-nosed reflection. 23/07/2019 Tri-Con Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Emile Pinet

wow, this is really really smart writing. I collect all sorts of junk, but also I have the hubbie and grown up kids! So i count myself fortunate. A fave for this one.
