The Cold Beer Song
I want here
a mug of cold beer,
it brings us good cheer,
make mine a Rainier.
Want one that’s crisp,
so cold it feels brisk,
don’t need a lime twist,
I’m just fine with this.
Won’t drink the whole
case, I’m too damn old
for living that bold,
just make sure mine’s cold.
I want here
a mug of cold beer,
it brings us good cheer,
make mine a Rainier.
Work leaves you dead,
often seeing red,
cool suds without head
can take off the edge.
Helps to relax
when you get off track,
forget what you lack,
and just lean on back…
I want here
a mug of cold beer,
it brings us good cheer,
make mine a Rainier.
Some people think
a man should not drink,
to that they ‘won’t sink,’
but I think that stinks.
We become sad,
the world’s often bad,
a break must be had,
no beer, we go mad.
I want here
a mug of cold beer,
it brings us good cheer,
make mine a Rainier.
