The Cobblestone Path

The sunlight tripped across the cobblestones. With silver damp dew each cobblestone shone. Glistening light, each unique rock did call. Between each of the rocks the moss had grown. The pathway called me, pulling me to walk With a hopscotch bouncing across the rocks. What lay up ahead? I had no idea. Fear and excitement lay in paradox. What town would it lead to, this stony lane? What dangers lie waiting beside its path? What wonders would I see along the way? I can’t wait to see and take off with a laugh.
