The Closest To Heaven

The closest to heaven
I ever got was when I knew their going to be a you.
When I felt you I never felt something more true.
I even cried for you,
Knowing if something ever harmed you
I’d fight for you
Knowing what ever you looked like I still would never have seen anything more beautiful as you.
Doing the best for you is all I ever wanted to do.
But letting go was the hardest thing I had to do.
Letting you go to a life I couldn’t give you.
I never knew I could love as much as I loved you.
The closest I ever got to heaven was when I gave birth to you.
