The Clock of The Cosmos

The time we share in this vast universe,
Can barely be seen on a scale that's so grand.
Yet we have defined and measured the 'zeptosecond',
As a photon races between atoms and new land.

Will this flash lead to a better understanding,
Of our place in this space that we are in?
Or maybe we might turn the clock back to immortality,
So we can enjoy, and do it all over again.
