The Clock

Tick tock goes the clock!
now you have to be on the watch
History, records,breakthroughs and inventions
in every tick tock seconds of the clock.

Tick tock goes the clock!
you who is oftened mocked
work! work! and never give up
revelation comes in a seconds of the clock.

Tick tock goes the clock!
with straw and hay build upon a rock
rain, storm and winds tries your work
in every tick tock seconds of the clock

Tick tock goes the clock!
look back and think upon all that you have done
time wasted or time invested
wishes or praises, its yours to decide
tick tock goes the clock.

well phrased. The third verse reminds me a bit of three little pigs, like instead of the wind and rain trying your work it would be the wolf trying to get to you by destroying everything you worked so hard to build (I tend to read into things:)). In my world it was always time wasted. If I did have something to show for all the labor, I wouldn't know what it is I'm showing, what defines an accomplishment. Thanks for sharing. -Yoni
