"the Climb Up"

I'm climbing up this hill with no safety net to catch me...
Don't bring one here for the climb has to be free...
The thrill of falling down makes the reach to the top
even more grand...
If I tumble or slip my strength will carry and take
my hand...
The view from the top is better than the one from the floor...
You can stand up tall and feel the air and let your mind soar...
Don't forget the steps that got you there, because whether you
reach the top or fall your best is what makes it rare...

Great message in this one..Anything in life can turn out wrong but if we never make an effort, we would never know if we would have made it or not..This is also true in love....I am glad that I chose this one this morn to read..I was delighted that you went back and read on of my older ones..I turned out some that I felt were my best along there..Thanks for reading it...Sara

We all go through life with "no safety net," and sometimes we encounter great difficulties achieving our goals. But as you say so poignantly, giving it our best effort and remembering those who helped us along the way are important, Michael. Excellent foresight and wisdom in this poem! Love, carolyn
