The Climb
You've heard it said before somewhere
of things that you go through.
I wonder if to hear once more
you might believe it's true.
Like the piano is to music,
like the words to some old rhyme.
God won't make a mountain
that He won't help you climb.
So when you're feeling like you're lost
and you feel so all alone.
Your heart is broke in pieces
and you're chilled right to the bone.
There's no one there beside you
and there's nowhere you can turn.
You're all out of options
and no bridges left to burn.
You lost a loved one on the way
they're every thing that mattered.
Someone broke your heart again
and all your dreams have shattered.
Hope is all but lost it seems,
your faith is almost gone.
You don't think you can make it,
you're just barely hanging on.
Like the piano is to music,
like the words in some old rhyme.
God won't make a mountain
that He won't help you climb.
