The Cleansing

Naked by moonlight face to face, not sexual but pure,

Both stripped bare of all their past, aware of something more.

It happened right before their eyes a cleansing to their core, the window to the Soul
also Opens up a door,

Manifesting in a mist that they could not see too clear, the spirit of each other
gradually Appeared.

Their souls exchanging places, his to her's and her's to his, without second thoughts it
Happened, life given, for a life to be lived!

Cleansed of all impurity, in body and of deed, without her force he would of died,
Exchanged a rose, for a failing weed,

Had he known would he consent, to take her place on earth? Unlikely for as she died, He
denounced his right of birth.

Love comes in different colors, and Kaliedescoped in view, but knowing what I know Right
now, I'd trade my soul too!
