The Christmas Slumber Party

It was the perfect night for a Christmas slumber party. The twins had not seen each other for two years. They ate homemade sugar cookies, and drank hot chocolate. Their pajamas were so happy they cried real tears. They could not stop hugging each other, excited for sure. They turned off the TV sets, and settled down for a snuggle. The laughter that came out of them was wholesome and pure. They ended up giving each other a giant love huggle. Let’s never our visits get two years apart again said one twin. Her sister snuggled up close and whispered “never.” This was their last visit, as one got bone cancer, a sin. But at least they had this to remember forever and ever.
