Through our 21st century, Corona-19/Delta/Omicron pandemic, I reflect upon Nazi Germany.  Millions of lives lost for the criminal acts imposed upon humanity, for an ambitious political agenda.  I ask, with lockdowns, mandates, vaccines and masks is anyone questioning our current policies without more thought?

The Chosen Ones

They were the chosen ones who wore their stars of gold
Whose lives were in the hands of misanthropes

Age did not matter, they took the young and old

Enduring harsh adversity they struggled to be bold
Faithful to the legacy they wanted to uphold

6 Million lost their lives, in the face of dying hope

They were the chosen ones who wore their stars of gold
Whose lives were in the hands of misanthropes.

I agree! Life is worth living - not hiding! These senseless agendas! The Kings and Queens of today in high-walled palaces snubbing the commoners…if evil can find a way, it will. But God is still on His throne. He laughs at those who think they are in control…it’s only a matter of time.

Well, there could be evil in the mandates. It could be to help mankind that is prevent deaths, illnesses, etc. My husband and I had the vaccinations of our own free will and we did get a breakthrough infection. All three of us our grandson lives with us came down with the virus. I can tell you from experience you do not want it. I was in bad shape. My daughters came, called an ambulance but they said I would have to wait in the ambulance for 3 hours for an ER room. That is how bad it was here. SK

Hi Sara, I am sorry if I offended you. This is my personal view point. I think when the government is mandating our health care and our way of life there is a problem. Granted, we are experiencing a pandemic, I do not doubt that. But I feel it is being perpetuated by our government, using it a a weapon for their ambitious gains. :) Paulette

What happened in Germany and in Europe as a whole can't be compared to what is happening all over the world right now. We are given a choice to wear masks, get vaccinated, to stay at home or go out. My husband and I got careless after we got vaccinated and we got sick. We should have still stayed at home. We lived because we were vaccinated but it could have been the other way. Sara

Very good comparison, Paulette. But we should also remember perhaps on a lesser scale the many epidemics of the past. Great poem though.

Thanks for commenting Victor. Certainly there have been other epidemics....but personally I see this one as an experiment on humanity. Blessings, Paulette
