The Choir From Above

All that music in the morning It is such a joy to hear As the rooster makes his early call And the birdsong is so clear How I love to hear the dawn chorus It's a choir from up above Nature fills the air with song And my heart's filled with love No matter what the weather Be it rain or be it shine Birds seem to sing forever And the morning feels so fine As I sit here in my chair And I listen to these birds From parrots to those cooing doves My heart it gets so stirred

Very nice Vera - so nice to be back on track away from the virus. you wonder what the next nonsense will be to be documented by uninnovated so-called poets.

I love the inviting serene feel of this poem. I've admired your photos you and Peter have posted. Are the bird a pet or they wild. I just love them. Hugs my dear friend

Hello Vera, My wife Ingrid and I have now been married nearly 25 years. You and Peter are our role models for the 50 year mark!! I do fully understand what you mean. It's really amazing how two people can continue to grow and progress together through life. Same for us too about Nature. We both love it immensely. Cheers and Best Wishes from Ingrid and me!! Gary
