The children of Cain

The purpose of life is

to discover
the purpose of life
 
We are the children of Cain

cursed-wanderers all
building towers sky-ward

desperate to be reunited
with our ground-of-being

the echoes of
our hearts' call

never returning

I was going to say also- 'An understanding God would forgive us for inventing him in the first place'.
