The Child Within
There's a little girl inside this body of twenty-eight years,
but sometimes she hides behind her fears.
She likes coming out to have fun, but when she gets scared,
she has nowhere to run; so she stays inside.
she keeps herself locked away for days, weeks, months, and even years.
But, she sneaks out once in a while when she thinks everything is clear.
Maybe someday she can come out and play, and not have to run and hide from
her fears; cause she is no longer scared to be outside of her body of twenty-eight
years.
