The Cherry On Top
I need magic and sparks
Flashes of light
Once the thunder starts
I need lightening strikes
The very, cherry on top
Is portraying the crown
The last kernels popped
Are a jewel to be found
I need whelks and bonnets
Lining my beaches
Effortless sonnets
That leave me speechless
That pop of vibrance
And contrast punch
That one last chance
It’s time to crunch
That final detail
To catch my eye
High tagged retail
Will satisfy
Waves in my ocean
Crushed ice in tea
Repetitive motion
That’s what I need
