The Changing Night
The Changing night…
The Changing Night…
I am not the mountain; I am not the sea,
I am just a man that wanted you to see.
You are full of moonlight; you are full of sun;
I live in the darkness; let you be the one.
I am not above you; you are not below,
I'm in the darkness; with sunshine, I will glow.
I am filled with shadows, shadows full of night;
Me and all the roses, waiting for the light.
Hoping for the sunshine, hoping for the rain,
weary from this madness, sorrow, loss, and pain.
I am from this earth, but dreaming of the moon,
One day, I’ll wake up from a dream that ended soon.
How come you are silent? Silent is the night.
Nights end in the mornings; mornings are delight.
You are like the sunshine; you are like the rain.
Come and kiss me, darling; I shall live again.
My pain will be gone sooner than never.
Let us change the night soon, always together.
