The Cave

Can you hear the tapping,
Getting louder and louder.

With Every passing minute,
From the within the cave.
It’s drawing me in, in like deep-sea waves,
And it keeps on changing its tune.

Tunes of life’s seducing fruit, and melody,
Coming out from the devils sweet lips,
And welcoming hands.

Don’t lie because I know,
Temptations honey always finds your craving mouth.

Don’t lie because I know,
A lover’s sexual words always find, its way into your ears.

In forms of
Greed
Envy
Wrath
Lust
Gluttony
And
Sloth

Don’t you feel them?
Taste them,
And hear them getting louder and louder from this cave.
This cave,
That houses your mind.
