The Cat

The little beast
Had the same routine, day in and day out
Until one day, two bigger beasts made to the cat, a plea
Teach us how to live, show us the route
The cat, determined to do good
Taught the Lion and the Tiger
How to hunt and how to sprint
How to sleep and how to eat
How to love and how to mate
It took a while, much was explained
They all sat down and took a deep breath
We did it fellas, I taught you everything you need
Oh but the tables turned
As soon as the Cat said these words
The Lion and the Tiger gave each other the signal
They pounced on the cat and chased him through the woods
The cat was well prepared
Never trust completely, his mom would say
He ran and ran
The bigger beasts chased along
The cat leaped and climbed atop a tree
The Lion and the Tiger were confused as could be
The cat never taught them how to climb
Who betrayed whom, who committed the crime?

Who betrayed whom, who committed the crime? The moral of the story is clear. Beautiful write, Shreya.

I too feel the moral is quite clear. Who do you think committed the crime?
