Thanks for the card I loved the design The words were perfect The sentiment sublime You know you really shouldn’t Your time is so precious But you still waste it on me Says so much about us Our love and respect As always days late I haven’t received it yet I’ll send your money on time For your birthday each year I send more for your daughter Though I’ll never see her No need for more lies Shrug and face reality You never sent the card You think nothing of me Such a wonderful daughter As I’m a wonderful dad We’re both as good as each other.
