The Car
From birth to grave
You must ride in the car
Walking the streets
Or riding a bike, won't get you far
With every buckle of the belt
The lie the system tells
You are not safe
Stay within the line
You'll always be fine
And rules will build your gate
Inundated with choice
The soul has nowhere to land
So it sits in the appropriate seat
Judging how to misunderstand
Further up the road
Where glory wants to hold
The wheel that drives the car
Wires fire and ignite
Which way the flight
Will raise the bar
To walk upon the dewy grass
With the rhythm of the earth
One must disconnect the car
And ride the vibrations into a new birth
...of possibilities
