The Calling

The Calling
Hidden among others
Lost in the crowd writing in the shadows
Living in solitude
Pen to paper
Black ink bleeding off of the pages
With endless story telling
Each poem is a short story
For we are writers in the dark
No one knows my name
Poems last through eternity
Sometimes trivial
An artistic pen writer
Literature and foot-notes
Where does the story even begin?
Your imagination is limitless
Through melodies and honest rhymes
These are your words
Freely written toward a completed manuscript
Each poem can be whimsical
Just an old soul writing poetry that echoes
