The Calendar Dealer
Listen to poem:
The Calendar Dealer
David J Walker
Pick your own date
Early or late in life
Pick the husband or wife you
Wanted to be
And I will see
What I can do for you
Finding the filings in
Bindings of memories of
Calendars past
And at last, though late
And determined by a set fate
I can expose you
Although you will only see
What you wanted to be
And not what you were in the
Lost days blurred vision in
The grasp of a dealer
In calendars past
