The Cage

The lyric is inspired by the song “The Code” of Nemo,
the winner of 2024 Eurovision Contest


I speak to the rippling wind passing me by
Let you all hear it whisper I’ve made myself free
I’ve broken the bars of the cage  
All my captive dreams are free

I paint picture of life with its colors

I was in the dark dungeon
Dreaming of dawn opening up
I broke the bars
Like a bird I flew
On wings of my dream
Found the blue sky
I broke the bars, yeah

Let me tell you the truth
The cage in mind I had built, not you
I gave myself the freedom 
Yeah

I emerged from the pile of debris 
Roamed in the plateau of pensive life
Aspirations flew on imagination 
I grew wings, soared in joyful sky

I let myself float in storm and in clear
Flying up and down
Trace the course of life
