"the Brother I Never Knew"

This poem was wrote for my little brother that died when I was young.

The brother I never knew died when I was little.
When he was gone he left me in the middle.
The brother I never knew my mom named him Roy.
They say when he was born he was a beautiful baby boy.
The brother I never knew we could've had so much fun.
If he only lived there were so many things we could've done.
The brother I never knew I would've taught him so many things.
He left this world along time ago and I know he now has wings.
The brother I never knew I wish he was still here.
The memories I have of him I will always keep them near.
                               Teresa Skyles
