The Brightest Flame
You are the brightest flame
burning from deep within me
igniting fires I cannot tame
branding my heart so deeply
You are the brightest flame
searing me to the core
your presence you have proclaimed
promising now and forever more
You are the brightest flame
smothering away my fears
never before you came
had I allowed anyone so near
You are the brightest flame
enticing my like no other
I hope forever your promise remains
you are the flame I will not smother
