The Brick House

I'd rather bring up the topic,
Not talking about,
How she's the hottest,
Just me being honest,
Because who I wanted,
Was the woman,
I wanted to love.

I want to open up my heart,
About loving you,
Yet I'm holding up my guard,
And the words won't undo;
They will not express,
From my chest and exude,

Yet I hope you're the one
Who loves me too.

Hola JT. I love the openness of your poem. When you're ready let them out...if this is not about your current life you have great empathy and have felt it once....from your chest and exude!

I see that there is a brick wall which needs pulling down fast, my friend! Time to clear the way and find the courage to make the all important step. Regards // paul
